I live half of the year in Interlaken and the other half in Zambia

How did you become a guide?
I lived and worked in Austria as a photographer for a rafting company and wanted to go to work in Turkey, but they had only raft guide positions available at that time - so I trained and became a raft guide!
What is the worst job you ever had and how long did you stick it out?
Promotional work for a local Textile Museum back home. I stayed only one day. Can you imagine any job more boring than talking the whole day about cotton ???
What are your top three holiday destinations and why?
Patagonia in Chile and Nepal are the most beautiful places i have ever been. Zambia is great for Safari too.
What, in your opinion, is so special about Interlaken?
The variety of the things you can do here.
Apart from working for Outdoor Interlaken, what is your favourite thing to do in Switzerland?
Hiking and biking.
Have you ever had someone famous on your trip?
Not yet, but I would like to have Sean Bean on my trip - he is hot!
What is the highest competition award you have to your name?
Pole dancing is my big passion. I am the future Pole Dance Champion of England.
What is the most memorable expedition you have made?
21 day rafting trip in Ethiopia - good times on the Omo River.
What do you love most about your job?
Apart from working with half naked men all day???

I am going to take photos for afternoon raft trip - looking at Gnu’ s muscles doesn't feel like work at all! 😉
