The Grimsel Pass is a mountain pass in Switzerland, crossing the Bernese Alps at an elevation of 2,164 metres (7,100 ft). The pass connects the Haslital, the upper valley of the river Aare, with the upper valley of the Rhône.
The Grimsel Canyoning Adventure starts with a HUGE 50m rappel or (abseil) into the canyon. This is the only way in, and is sure to get your adrenaline flowing!
As you head down the canyon, you come across some awesome cliff jumps off waterfalls into crystal clear green pools. There’s also some natural water slides, a cave, and they’ve even set up a zip-line that sends you out high above a deep pool at the end.
The whole way down is just breathtaking. The scenery is second to none! So don’t forget to look around once in a while and take a moment to feel the Swiss Alps!
